Trinity College, 2nd Year Economics
Hey guys!
As you may or may not know, my name is Xinmei, I’m at Trinity and am a *drum roll please* second year Economist– a subject that no doubt many of you are familiar with! But more importantly I will be your ents officer this year, that means I’m be getting those much loved formals organised for you, and of course no other than the Oxbridge Boat Party!
Although I’m originally born in China, having pretty much forgotten what the huang he is, think of me as a BBC. I love to dance (actual dance, not just clubbing :P) and occasionally attempt to play badminton (badly). And of course, the Asian in me loves to cook; the non-Asian in me loves to bake, so you can call me a fully fledged foodie. I should probably mention something about Economics now, but most of you probably study it (or maybe it’s just the committee…) and so I will leave it at that.
I hope you all have a great year, and cheers; gan bei to all of you!
Likes: shiny things, Green & Black’s, being around other people
Dislikes: Sainsbury’s basics vodka, Oblivion at Alton Towers, aubergines
Most embarrassing moment: ...I walked into a door in year 3 (can’t think of anything else right now!)

Justine Shek - Publicity Officer

Harry Huang, President

Tony Qin, Secretary
College: Gonville and Caius
Course: Computer Science
Born in the 1990s, Tony was raised by mountain bears who tutored Tony in the forbidden art of ice skating [bear variation]. It was there that Tony revealed his prodigious talents for the skill garnering many fans that were awestruck by his awesomeness. Affectionately known by fans as “Emperor Qin”, Tony’s flair and bear tutelage enabled him to create his unsurpassed signature move “Awesome Bear Paw Graceful Fish Catch Awesome” – approximately 34 people and 1 bear have died from attempting to imitate his move of sheer brilliance. However, in the Winter Olympics of 1982 held in Kenya, Tony and ice skating partner Paris Hilton controversially lost out on a gold medal through a seemingly biased points decision based on the fact he didn't exist. Extremely disheartened, Tony vowed never to return to the ice rink again – and he hasn’t. Tony was born 8 years later.
